A Tennessee State Trooper arrested a man wanted by North Carolina authorities during a commercial vehicle checkpoint in Cumberland County on Friday morning. Trooper Chris Adams was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection on a 2015 Freightliner tractor trailer on Interstate 40 eastbound at mile marker 307 at approximately 9:33 a.m. It was during the inspection that the trooper ran a driver's license validation check and discovered the driver had four felony warrants out of North Carolina.
