Missing boater reported after empty sailboat washes ashore

Investigators are looking into a report of a missing man after a sailboat washed ashore on Watauga Lake in Carter County. Carter County dispatchers contacted the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency around 9:30 Wednesday morning after finding the boat.
